No Stupid Questions – “Taught Me the Game”

Rising NYC band No Stupid Questions strut a memorable rock sound on new single “Taught Me the Game,” melding twangy guitar allure with lyrical perspectives on change. “We don’t talk as much as I wanted to,” a memorable vocal presence lets out, parts suave and anthemic as glistening guitar trickles and warming jangles coexist.

Glimmering organs coexist in the background, while hopeful vocals progress into a title-bearing exclamation just before the two-minute turn. Bursting guitars appear a minute later, infusing alongside keys and an ensuing vocal ardency. “Taught Me the Game” is a standout success from No Stupid Questions, expanding enjoyably from introspective intrigue into an impassioned rock appeal.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
