Initial guitar glistening trickles alongside playful vocal harmonies, with the lead vocal soaring, singing “I’ll keep fighting ’til I can’t move.” An ensuing yearning to “run away” combines with heavier, jangling guitar distortion, reflecting personal “trials and tribulations” and the kneejerk desire to run and hide. Succeeding across both dreamy swirls of guitar and heavier, ardent pulsations, “No Need” is a stellar rock output from Hannett Beach.
