Philadelphia-based artist John Markowski enthralls on new single “Summer Rain,” alluring in its hypnotic and emotional combination of heartrending strings and jangling acoustic strums. Triumphant brass tones also emerge in the second half, while Markowski’s vocals also stun in their descriptive lyrical imagery and smoothly melodic prowess.
