MUSIC DOWNLOADS: The Bleachers

The Bleachers hail from Las Vegas, which is an interesting place for a band to come from. Forming in 2003, they consist of Joe Maloney, Marco Brizuela and David Hines. They remind us of the dark, jangly days of 80s era college rock, when REM was on top. Their sound can range from early Clinic to Joy Division, but it still incorporates a collective unique sound. Their EP, The Bleachers, can be purchased now. Their new album, Suspicion, releases on June 27th, with three songs from the album below. The band has potential to be one of the sleeper hits of 2006.
