“Easy” is another fun music video from Real Estate, who also released a pooch-friendly video of the equally great “It’s Real” in November. The video for “Easy” is more in the comedic vein, as the Funny or Die logo suggests. Their street team travels the city, pushing the band’s music on walker-by’s with forced headphone listening. Maybe Santorum did something similar in Iowa. After payola with a NYU DJ doesn’t quite work, they kidnap him, tie him up in a van, and practically re-enact certain moments from that great Sopranos episode, “Pine Barrens”. Real Estate are from Jersey, after all. PR is pretty tough these days.
