Director Sam Zimman takes us through a hazy road trip, coming across both rural neighborhoods and scaling urban architecture. The kaleidoscope-like effects, with occasional blurs of Van Etten’s face, add to the artistic visuals. Just imagine watching this when strapped down like in A Clockwork Orange. It might cause a seizure, albeit a fun and audibly stimulating one.
