Katmaz – “Nautical Things”


Buffalo, NY native Matthew Kaz was previously featured with the impressive track “For Now“, and “Nautical Things” takes his sound a step further, showcasing a more reserved approach with sporadic keys, descriptive lyrics with wit, and seafaring-like melody that recalls organic gems of the past with its natural acoustic strums and gentle vocals. Meanwhile, the guitar-led hook around 01:35 recalls Radiohead in tone — so yeah, it’s a great bit. This soars into the satisfying finale, showing yet another impressive effort from Matthew Kaz, aka Katmaz.
