nRCS – “Run Through the Rain”

nrcs music

Just in time for the summer, “Run Through the Rain” – despite its title – evokes shimmering sunshine in its effervescent keys, soaring vocal lead, and general blissed-out enthusiasm. Produced by Memoryy and Brothertiger, the track centers around a confident chorus – “I would run there again, for you” – that works cohesively throughout, reminding of Swedish group jj and their wistful electro-tinged sunshine.

More on the act, via Soundcloud: “nRCS’ Fionn Knyper is a San Francisco bred, Brooklyn-based singer/musician gearing up to release his latest incarnation’s debut EP. A veteran rock drummer, Fionn only recently took on frontman duties with his unique & captivating voice filling Williamsburg Brooklyn’s finest venues. Along the way, he caught the ear (and keyboard duties) of Memoryy’s Shaun Hettinger, who, along with Chillwave artist Brothertiger, helped polish the forthcoming dreamy indie-rock EP.”
