Digital Order – “On Our Way”

In the lovably nostalgic vein of Blind Melon or Collective Soul, “On Our Way” finds Digital Order alternating between jubilant acoustically-aided verses and thunderous alternative-friendly choruses/hooks. The new single from the Australian rock/electronic act shows what the four-piece does very well: incorporate melodic guitars, drums, and synths for a hybrid of hard/alternative rock and contemporary indie-rock/dance. Founding member Will Cruz has spent time with UK producer Kevin Kerrigan (Dido, Bj√∂rk, Natalie Imbruglia) learning about songwriting, so there’s plenty of combined experience here that’s evident in the musicianship. It shows on this polished track.
