21-year-old indie-pop singer/songwriter Olivia Grace impresses mightily on new track “Blackbird”, where she shows a Fiona Apple-like lyrical and melodic playfulness. “‘Til the blackbird flies a mile,” she sings at the concluding section of the bridge, leading into an electronic-touched sensational hook where her vocals distort alongside effervescent synth effects, with a carnival-like dream-pop touch. Grace, originally from a small town in Maryland, is now based in Brooklyn, with this new single gradually helping propel her work into the spotlight. Get lost into the jungle and into the wild with this effort.
