“In My Ways”, a cut from London-based trio Boy Days’ forthcoming EP of the same name, is a gripping and soulful gem — led by a classic, emotional vocal delivery that recalls vintage soul. A glistening gospel organ and backing choir-like vocal effect during the hook are some of the arsenal’s other highlights, the track swiftly navigating from suave verse to emotionally gripping chorus., with the bridge at 01:39 doing fine work as well. This is an excellent track that we’re happy to premiere.
