FEEDBACK – “Money”

/

An exhilarating, rousing rocker, “Money” is an invigorating new single from NYC-based act FEEDBACK. Charismatic vocals, brisk bass lines, and high-charged guitar distortion complement a thematically poignant pull, per the band taking aim “at the zealous worship of money in modern society, as wealth surpasses all virtues as the most valued trait.”

Hectic blares of guitar are quickly complemented by a sturdy rhythm section, while Stavros Hughes’ vocals emerge thereafter: “if you get a little money, you’ll be taking a backseat, to the money…” The ascent to the anthemic “come on, shout!” is wholly contagious, and artful in its alternations between realistic depictions of greed’s enveloping, foreboding reach and the beckoning to “shout!” “Money” is a stellar, rockin’ output from FEEDBACK, making for an affecting studio take on a track that’s been a staple of their live sets.
