Small Talk – “Adventure Song”

“Adventure Song” is a beautiful, fluttering piece of indie-pop from Boston act Small Talk. Self-propelled by “tight vocal harmonies and a healthy dose of groove”, the six-piece rides on a harmonious male-female vocal harmony and melodic twinkles, with a capricious vocal presence that blows naturally among the sweeping melodies. Piano trickles give way to a mid-track bridge, accommodating the final one-third as an amped-up version of the first half, with the female vocals rising in particular intensity. This is a track of breezy sunshine.
