Heidi Osborne – “A2Z (Rise and Grind)”

/

The snappy, opening track on Heidi Osborne’s new album Nomad, “A2Z (Rise and Grind)” is a nice example of the artist’s knack for charismatic vocals and playful, perky hooks. The “rise and grind,” hook is accompanied by stuttering synths and a playful staccato-like touch. The wavering synths and staccato effect remain effective throughout. Another release highlight, “Oh Honey”, showcases her range, proving Osborne is effective at more understated ballads, in addition to more perky pop. Fans of touching ballads and snappy indie-pop are likely to enjoy Osborne’s new album Nomad.
