Meanr Mynr – “M.L.K. Blvd.”

After impressing with multiple tracks last year, Meanr Mynr is at it again with a striking new full-length, Park Hill Prophet. The release chronicles the life of growing up in Denver. It’s a consuming listen throughout, highlighted especially by the moody “M?.?L?.?K. Blvd.”, which audibly renders as a more urban take on Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “A Day in the Park“. Guitars and backing gospel vocals combine for a powerful result, showing one of many examples of top-notch production and consuming vibes throughout the release.
