Ben Rice – “Autumn Days”

/

Fit for one of autumn’s first weekends, “Autumn Days” is a tender and moving new track from Brooklyn-based producer, engineer, and musician Ben Rice. His soothing vocals glide alongside mellow acoustics and sporadic piano, the chorus finding a slight crackle in the voice aligning with an uptick in emotion. The entire track is understated and enjoyably so, though the gradual addition of an electric guitar twang alongside the acoustics and piano plays especially nicely toward the conclusion.

Also recommended from Ben is “The Getaway”, which shows a more twanging rock-forward feel:

“Autumn Days” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2018’ Spotify playlist.
