Carter Ace – “I Think I’m Normal”

/

Carter Ace’s new track “I Think I’m Normal”, released today, presents smooth ‘n’ soulful pop, with hip-hop elements in the verses. Oneil Carter shows a rhythmic and melodic lead in the verses (01:12 is especially catchy), while the chorus unveils a more traditional vein of soul/R&B with smooth-gliding guitars. The five-piece from Los Angeles show infectious, stylistically eclectic charm on this track. Other great tracks from the act’s past releases, like “Who Gotchu Hurtin'” and the smooth brass-laden “If I Don’t Work”, can be streamed on their Soundcloud.

“I Think I’m Normal” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Hip-Hop and Rap 2018.
