Risky Motion – “Trip My Play”

/

Risky Motion, the music project of David Roseboom, produces a striking sound with groovy guitars, spacey synths, and a fondness for funk-tinged psychedelia. His vocals, capable of suave crooning and higher-pitched funk hooks, are a perfect accompaniment for the style. Such is evident on the new track “Trip My Play”, released today. It’s a great one. The two-minute mark provides a brisk synth-rock sort of allure, crunchy guitars and squealing synths combining for a delectable soundscape. Roseboom’s vocal passion at three minutes in is especially gripping, and a great bit to cap things off on this funky, infectious and electro-fied track.

“Trip My Play” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Funk and Soul 2018.
