“If You Feel It” is a new single from Oakland project Headphone Hair. Peppy with an infectious synth-laden pop spirit, aesthetically reminiscent of Hot Chip, “If You Feel It” continues the project’s knack for memorable and easily accessible songwriting, also evident on past featured tracks like “Say That You Want Me” and “A Little Color.” This track’s “show me that feeling,” vocal hook is accompanied with glistening delight from shimmering synths, with a bridge shortly after the two-minute mark adding some enjoyable variation. I look forward to more from the project this year.
