Michael Paradise – “Gold”

//

Toronto artist Michael Paradise impresses with the track “Gold,” touting a funk-tinged vein of jangly pop that reminds fondly of Toro y Moi. Gaining steam since last summer, when he released two successful lead singles, Michael Paradise will be releasing an EP later this year. Certainly, his lush and groovy sound – here adorned with jangly guitars and a sweetly melodic vocal delivery – is one that should attract ample attention. Fit for both gentle snowfalls and hazy heatwaves, “Gold” is a testament to Michael Paradise’s well-produced and accessible sound.

“Gold” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2019’ Spotify playlist.
