Bed Scene – “Dulcinea”

“Dulcinea” is a lush, melodic gem with jangly guitars and soft synths accompanying the lush vocals of musician, producer, and composer Nick Aponte, behind the project Bed Scene. The release is the title track from Bed Scene’s follow-up EP, releasing on May 30th. The first EP dropped last year and can be heard here. The project takes inspiration from “the sounds of early’ 80s Spanish ballads and lo-fi pop,” with the track serving as “an interpretation of Bed Scene’s influences and an ode to his Hispanic roots.” The track’s slowed-down touch of psychedelia in the closing seconds is another notable success, capping off a melodic and well-produced effort from Bed Scene.
