Appearing on the label geleia lenta’s new mixtape música para divorciados, “jacuzzis” glistens with marimba-like pulsations, serene vocals, and an understated rhythmic presence. The Portuguese artists weave a pop-minded immediacy with a summer-minded atmospheric lull. Thematically, the track “challenges the necessity of material goods in favour of genuine human interactions.” It’s a melodic winner, for sure.
