Premiere: Strange Weather – “Surroundings”

Strange Weather’s previously featured track, “Suspending Disbelief,” transported us to a tropical island, with its swaying guitars making for a hypnotic effect. The project’s latest, “Surroundings,” accomplishes a similar feeling as well, whisking listeners to a place with calming, swaying magic — making it a release we’re happy to premiere. The aesthetic captivates throughout; twangy guitars just prior to the two-minute mark are accompanied by gentle organs and vocal murmurs. Shortly thereafter, a burst of vocal passion, twinkling keys, and vibrant rhythms show the track’s peak. “Surroundings” is more enjoyment from Strange Weather.

“Surroundings” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2019’ Spotify playlist.
