Scott Chasolen – “Don’t Know How”

/

NYC-based musician Scott Chasolen released his debut album in 2003, following many years in the jam circuit with instrumental group ulu. Since then, his solo career has blended folk, rock, and jazz aspects for a pleasing, intimate sound. Scott’s most recent album, Living in Limbo, released on October 1st. The set of acoustic songs focuses on the “tragic loss of love,” recorded by Scott alone in his NYC apartment during a difficult, yet inspiring, period. Nicely evident of Scott’s sound is the piano ballad “Don’t Know How,” a heart-tugger with lounge-y piano vibes, heartfelt vocals, and pleading lyrics. Stream the rest of the album on Spotify here.

“Don’t Know How” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2019’ Spotify playlist.
