Premiere: Hannah Rose Dexter – “Leave”

/

“Leave” is a consuming track out today from Hannah Rose Dexter. The artist touts a bass-heavy sound, with “Leave” guided by the pull of an electric bass amidst creative time changes, poly-rhythms, and bass tapping. Mekala Session’s jazzy percussive work breathes further life into the track’s dynamic sound. 02:50 finds a dual vocal approach gliding alongside the bustling bass, making for a memorable highlight as the impressive “Leave” enters its closing stretch, with a classic rock bass bounce playing with fun allure in the final 30 seconds. The track comes from Dexter’s upcoming album The View From Normal, out in February.
