King Jane – “Little Devil”

/

King Jane’s 2019 EP Deep in the Garden showed a very promising rock act, one that blended classic-rock charm with modern innovation. The newly released “Little Devil” achieves a similar appeal. The verses play with a confident strut, reminiscent of Tom Petty. A wall of soulful, bluesy guitars hit at moments like 02:13, comprising a stellar hook that induces replays and shows some ’90s alt-rock nostalgia as well. The Brookyln-based act continue to show a stirring sound, and will hopefully be releasing more throughout the year.

“Little Devil” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2020’ Spotify playlist.
