WALLA – “The Draw”

The crisply melodic “The Draw” is a track out today from WALLA, the Los Angeles act who impressed last June with synth-infused rocker “Lanes.” “The Draw” embraces the synth-pop spectrum even more, with quality results. Yearning vocals, a lush synth pad, and grooving bass line craft an enticing beginning. Bouncy synths and guitars at the 50-second mark signal a stellar chorus — “you know my love is real.” A melodic synth-laden bridge follows with enjoyable conciseness. “The Draw” is an accessible, pleasant success from WALLA yet again.

“The Draw” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
