Echo Frame – “Blue for Many Moons”

//

Echo Frame‘s debut release, “Blue for Many Moons” is a winner from the Vancouver-based artist. A soulful croon and jangly guitars mesh with serene enjoyment, segued with fluid guitar bursts. Aesthetically, the track sits comfortably in the jangle-pop and surf-tinged rock vein. The artist also notes taking inspiration from old soul records, in addition to acts like The Growlers, Mac DeMarco, and Tame Impala. This is a fully consuming solo debut that has me anticipating Echo Frame’s next release.

“Blue for Many Moons” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
