DOLLY ZOOM – “Rabbit Hole”

//

From Australian act DOLLY ZOOM, “Rabbit Hole” is a dazzling electro-pop track with ample infectious qualities. Aesthetically reminiscent of MGMT, a spacey synth arpeggio complements soaring vocals to start. “Deep down the rabbit hole, take my hand and let it go,” the vocals punch during the excellent chorus. Per the band, the track’s “lyrics explore ‘leap of faith’ moments in life.” The contagious synthesizer usage, infectious vocal melody, and hypnotic arpeggiated glee make for a track that entices ample replays.

“Rabbit Hole” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
