GEIZ – “Overtime”

//

“Overtime” is a thumping electro-pop success from GEIZ, the latest single from the act. A creeping synth-based arpeggio kicks forward into a dizzying electro-pop expansion. Multi-layered vocals emerge and build toward a delightfully catchy chorus — “workin’ every day and every night for you.” The underlying arpeggio and heavy synth-bass continue to converge with enjoyable precision. “Overtime” especially impresses with a fantastic bridge; a theatrical organ-forward arpeggio joins in as the two-minute mark arrives, as melodic vocals twist and turn. “Overtime” is a stellar, very infectious success from GEIZ.

“Overtime” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
