Sheila Eden – “Bring Me Home”

/

Out today from Sheila Eden, “Bring Me Home” is a lush electro-pop groover. Already off to a strong second half of the year with releases like “Uncertain Lovers” and the Memorry remix of “Someone New,” “Bring Me Home” continues a strong stretch. Gently pulsing synths and contemplative lyrics kick things off accessibly. An enjoyably dark electro-pop turn past the one-minute mark is striking, one of several structural twists and turns throughout. Sheila Eden shows a knack for seamlessly integrating both lush, dreamy pop and grittier enjoyment. “Bring Me Home” succeeds in its idiosyncratic structural journey.

“Bring Me Home” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.
