Aaron Joseph Russo – “Night Market”

/

Impressing prior with gems like “Espresso” and “Cha Cha Cha,” Aaron Joseph Russo returns with the yearning “Night Market.” A spirited synth-laden twinkling kickstarts the effort, as Russo’s dreamy, relatively melancholic vocal tone envelops. “I don’t wanna grow up, can we stay here?” Russo muses during the memorable chorus, glistening with melodic delight. “Night Market” is another weightless-sounding songwriting success from Russo.

The track represents the second single from Russo’s upcoming album, out at the end of the year.

Regarding the track Russo writes:

“the song is inspired by a trip to korea i took with my girlfriend, and the fact that right when we returned home there were some tragic events that transpired within our families and the longing of wanting to go back to that trip before anything bad had happened.”

“Night Market” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2021’ Spotify playlist.
