George Gritzbach – “Sweet Misery”

/

Tender blues guitars and sweltering organ lead on “Sweet Misery,” a memorable track from George Gritzbach, off his sixth studio release, Full Circle. The blues artist touts a suave confidence throughout, the collected vocals and instrumentation consistently showing a convincing sound. A scorching guitar solo around the mid-point plays with an enthralling quality, the smoky psych-infused blues character succeeding fully. The album contains a number of highlights, from the brassy “Sally O” to the smooth “Cheap Thrill.”
