Dylan Tauber – “Lone Satellite”

Atmospherically capturing the loneliness of outer space, “Lone Satellite” is a chilling track from Dylan Tauber. The Israel-based musician crafts ambient, cinematic works steeped in spacey electronic textures. “Lone Satellite” comes via the recent album Sounds From Space 2. A haunting, wordless vocal melody lingers through reverbed percussion for an intriguing, spacious feeling. The accompanying visualizer features images reflecting a stillness and patience within space, an apt accompaniment to the ethereal soundscape throughout “Lone Satellite.” The wordless vocals, hypnotic percussion, and spacey synths converge for memorable effect throughout “Lone Satellite.”

“Lone Satellite” and other memorable tracks from July can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2021’ Spotify playlist.
