The bands that are part of the rock ‘n’ roll music scene are known for creating some of the best rock anthems of all time. People sometimes say that the bands from the rock industry surprisingly make the best music ballads, the best hits, and the best so-called anthem songs that have a cult status among audiences all across the globe.

These are songs that stand the test of time, and they were mega-hits when they came out and continue to be even today. Not many rock bands can provide the audience with such iconic songs, and it is impressive that even though many new genres became famous in recent years, these songs are still popular.

That is why here we will see the top 5 rock anthems that stand the test of time.

‘’We Will Rock You’’ – Queen’s Iconic Masterpiece

It doesn’t get more iconic and anthemic than this; Queen’s mega-hit ‘’We Will Rock You’’ is one that is popular among all ages, from young teenagers to grandparents. No matter if it is played on a movie, TV show, or at various sporting events, this song comes first to mind even if you ask the truest Queen fans. It is one for the ages and one that will remain popular forever.

As a single, it sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, and it was released back in 1977. The author credit goes to guitarist Brian May who wrote this song, and he definitely made a rock anthem that is still one of the best.

‘’Ace of Spades’’ – Motorhead

Yet another rock anthem that stands the test of time is the legendary hit song by Motorhead titled ‘’Ace of Spades’’. Even fans that don’t like hard rock know and love this song. It was also the title track for the studio album of the same name that was released in 1980. It sold more than 400,000 copies only in the UK as a single, and it hasn’t stopped entertaining rock fans since.

It is one that after you listen to it, you immediately get the feeling of a gambling excitement since that is the main theme. And since, unfortunately, we are not in the 80s, you don’t have to rush to get into a casino; you can easily try the best online casino games Canada and have a lot of fun. But remember, always keep a budget limit and gamble responsibly! Other than that, you can have fun online while you listen to ‘’Ace of Spades’’ from Motorhead as loud as you possibly can.

‘’Alive’’ – Pearl Jam

If we move forward a little bit, we can name ‘’Alive’’ from Pearl Jam as one of the best rock anthems ever. Pearl Jam was part of the grunge movement back in the 90s, alongside bands like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and others. It was an excellent decade for rock music, and ‘’Alive’’ is a song that fans still want to hear live when Pearl Jam has a concert.

It was featured on the album ‘’Ten’’, which is considered one of the greatest ever in rock music, and it most certainly changed Pearl Jam’s members live forever. And even though this song has a dark theme about a traditional family dynamic, it is widely popular among fans because it has a sing-along vibe that is great for live concerts.

‘’Satisfaction’’ – Rolling Stones

There is no need to explain why ‘’Satisfaction’’ by the legendary Rolling Stones is considered a rock anthem and one of the greatest rock music hits of all time. It is a masterpiece created by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger with lyrics that refer to commercialism and sexual frustration. The opening riff from Keith is one of the most memorable guitar hooks you will ever hear, and it is one that you will never forget.

It was released back in 1965, As a single, it sold more than 2 million copies around the world, and it has peaked at number one on many music charts from various countries. And it is not a surprise because Mick and Keith are authors of many rock hits that are still immensely popular.

‘’Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2’’ – The Legendary Pink Floyd

Last but not least, we can not end the list without mentioning Pink Floyd and their wonderful anthem ‘’Another Brick in the Wall.’’ Part 2 is the most popular one from the three-part rock opera ‘’The Wall’’ that was released back in 1979, written by bassist Roger Waters.

The famous line ‘’We don’t need no education’’ from the chorus is one of the most recognizable ever, and the song criticizes the wrong way schools create ‘robots’ whose intention is to be part of a system that controls everything. It is one of many mega-hits that Pink Floyd created over the course of their career, but this one is definitely the best rock anthem they ever made. It doesn’t get any better than this, and it is a blessing and a curse that the lyrics are still appropriate today.
