Noveliss – “Cold Mountain”

A new track from Detroit-based rapper Noveliss, featuring the production of Dixon Hill, “Cold Mountain” glistens with a key-laden beat and suave vocal flow. A highlight from the artist’s new album Book of Changes, “Cold Mountain” entrances quickly. The spoken-word section touts a meditative quality, playing as an enjoyable bridge between the vocal sections. The mellow beat and intense vocal flow hypnotize; Noveliss and Dixon Hill impress with “Cold Mountain.” The remainder of Book of Changes engages as well, producing a hypnotic vein of hip-hop throughout.

The track is “inspired by the collection of poems by the legendary hermet of Chinese legend, Hanshan.”
