TOIGO – “We’ve Got Tonight To Leave Me Broken”

/

Vancouver-based artist TOIGO struts a meticulously produced alt-pop sound on new tracks “We’ve Got Tonight To Leave Me Broken” and “Another Shade Of Blue,” bundled together as a cinematic double video (above). Spirited guitar strums and smooth vocals craft stirring verses, driving to a title-referencing chorus that soars with an anthemic radio-friendly quality. A twangy guitar section caps off the chorus with delightfully infectious results. “We’ve Got Tonight To Leave Me Broken” is an anthemic, rousing success. The video then traverses into “Another Shade Of Blue,” visually and audibly feeling like a day-after-the-storm. This more contemplative, subdued track shows the commendable melodic and tonal range of TOIGO, while sporting a stellar chorus as well.

“We’ve Got Tonight To Leave Me Broken” was co-written and produced by Juno/Grammy Award-winning producer Brian Howes.

“We’ve Got Tonight To Leave Me Broken” and other memorable tracks from November can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2021’ Spotify playlist.
