Raspy, soulful vocals and a bass-heavy front craft inviting initial verses, expanding crisply with the addition of guitars and responsive vocal layers. “Even when I fall from grace, you’re catching me,” he concludes the hook with, fondly recalling Yves Tumor in aesthetic. An entrancing psych-friendly guitar line past the three-minute mark excels into a fully satiating conclusion. “Lightweight” continues a very strong run for Morisse Monty.
