Janna Pelle – “Know Too Much”

/

Miami-based artist Janna Pelle crafts an intriguing pop sound throughout her new track “Know Too Much.” The initial soundscape presents a spacey allure; lush synths and contemplative vocals concoct ample mystique, gradually escalating with a pop-friendly fervency. A murky bridge leads delightfully into pulsing synth spirit, the “run and hide,” vocal intensity joined by chirpy synth additions. “Know Too Much” excels with its melodic pull and spacey synth entrancement.

Pelle, who has released three full-length albums to date, is presently working on her first fully self-produced album, scheduled to be released later this year. She cites Lady Gaga and Tame Impala as chief influences, reflected in this track’s consuming meshing of psychedelic pop with a dance-friendly energy during its rises.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2022’ Spotify playlist.
