almost a.m. – “Quarter Way”

Montana-based band almost a.m. deliver a crisp pop sound on “Quarter Way,” released today. Light keys shimmer alongside buzzing guitars, with the “don’t know how it’s gonna go,” vocal hook playing with a suavely engrossing allure. “I’ll be dead tomorrow,” they let out, prior to a synth-forward expanse. The washes of synths enamor alongside the perky keys and melodic vocals, as the “can’t go back in time,” refrain immersing with a contagious electronic appeal. “Quarter Way” is an accessible delight from almost a.m..

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2023’ Spotify playlist.
