Empty Machines – “Luna”

/

Glasgow-based duo Empty Machines stir with their debut single “Luna.” Their cinematic, layered sound builds with precision and intrigue on the track, strutting a steady momentum in its evolution from quaint contemplation into a rousing guitar-fronted rock splendor. The duo impress with their atmospheric rock unfolding and fierce vocal delivery.

“You’ll be mine,” the vocals sing confidently. “Deeper, you will fall,” they continue, as an eerie synth-laden touch lends itself to the fairly ominous swell. A burst of guitars at the mid-point echoes a textural alt-rock nostalgia, adding a buzzing backing to the dreamy vocal confidence. “Hanging from my heart again,” they close with, into a warming layering of lingering guitars. “Luna” provides an immersive rock build that satiates fully in its development.
