Cisco Bluff – “Second Sight”

//

Seamlessly traversing between moody and hooky amidst an ’80s nostalgia, the track “Second Sight” dazzles in its array of synth-led effervescence and debonair post-punk murkiness. The new single from artist Cisco Bluff, “Second Sight” meshes a yearning lyrical prowess with a thoroughly compelling production. The funky bass movements and whirring synth momentum at mid-point make for an especially hard-hitting sequence, while the effervescent “sweet music dies,” chorus is magnetic with its arpeggiated synth lines and jangly guitars. I’m loving this one.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Pop.
