BLEU REINE – “Un Visage sur un nom”

/

A dreamy, haunting spell takes hold on French project BLEU REINE‘s “Un Visage sur un nom,” evolving from a lush pop intrigue to textured psychedelic rock haunts. One of many highlights via recent album La Saison fantôme, the track is a showcase in atmospheric and melodic strengths from BLUE REINE, which was formed by multi-instrumentalist Léa Lotz in 2018. The project embraces a solo output, while also incorporating a live band for an expansive showcase in live performance, especially.

“Un Visage sur un nom” traverses brilliantly from lush vocals and percussive pit-pattering into a rousing second half. Murmuring guitars and a calming bass entrance add to the climactic appeal, launching into a triumphant soaring — yet delectably ghostly — rock-forward rise into the riveting conclusion.
