Virgo Verse – “Comfort You”

“Comfort You” is an enveloping new single from Virgo Verse, an artist based in Los Angeles, and originally from Massachusetts. “I’m hurt, I don’t wanna take it out on you,” the vocals let out, then admitting “I just wanna comfort you.” The adoring, smitten lyrical sentiments align beautifully with lush acoustics and steady percussion, arising thereafter in a tender electric guitar addition amidst peppy, wordless vocal touches. Certain lines — “I forget that my insides are on the outside,” — reflect the struggles of balancing sour moods with someone who’s “so kind,” — and deserves comfort, rather than animosity. “Comfort You” is a stellar, melodic track.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
