Cailo – “Tell Me”

/

A dance-pop success from Cailo, “Tell Me” presents a vibrant and upbeat allure — propelled by a heartfelt vocal infusion alongside an array of flourishing string and pulsing rhythms. The effervescent piano reflections combine with these ravishing production elements for a sound that bridges danceable pop and classical-inspired theatrics. “Tell me that you love me,” the main vocal repeats, playing with magnetic passion within the ceaselessly melodic production.

“Tell Me” captures the smitten sense of having a crush, and the giddiness that ensues when one contemplates if the love is requited. The track is also inspired by the artist’s own spirit. “The song was inspired by my optimistic personality and propensity to dream ever since I was child,” Cailo explains. “I was always caught up in the thought of what I could be and all the endless possibilities of love.” The release expresses an admiration for art and love, emotions invoked following a series of near-death incidents for the artist. Formerly a police officer, they have since retired and are now devoted to music, of which the excellent “Tell Me” is a byproduct.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
