Infused – “The Room”

/

Intriguing with a steady psych-rock expanse, “The Room” is a recent single from Infused, a band based in Central Pennsylvania. Thumping percussion and flickering guitar vibrancy complement a vocal mystique, referencing the “secrets of eternity,” amidst a palpably climactic pull. The band notes inspiration deriving from “the realm of dreams,” and the glistening guitar work and calming vocal presence aligns aptly.

“It opens up for us to see,” the vocals commence an emotively affecting sequence, traversing into a soaring captivation before a very Pink Floyd-esque section, where prancing guitars, calming acoustics, and a textured blissfulness coalesce. “The Room” is a movingly melodic success from Infused.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
