Rrest – “French Connection”

/

Aspirations to “be close to you,” enamor alongside a warming, hooky rock sound on “French Connection,” the new single from Atlanta-based duo Rrest, comprising Wes Ables and Andy Teems. Jangly guitar tones and soaring vocal retrospection align with melodic immersion. “I’ve got so much more to do,” the vocals let out with aspirational qualities, driving into the aforementioned aspirations with a refrain-led, heartfelt sense of smitten. Teems’ guitar and production complement Ables’ creative songwriting ideas here on this excellent track. We’re firmly anticipating what’s next from Rrest.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
