bleueno – “For You”

/

A soulful dream-pop intoxication takes hold on “For You,” an atmospheric new single from French artist bleueno. Releasing ahead of her EP Lean On Me, “For You” spans barely over a minute — though makes a strong mark nonetheless, as woozy vocals, gentle bass pulses, and nocturnal synth flashes converge with delicate precision. “‘Cause we are still alive,” the vocals let out, with an aptly ghostly appeal, before shifting to the French language. “For You” is a serenely enveloping success from bleueno.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
