Liminal Prison – “Linceul”

/

A nocturnal post-punk beauty stirs on “Linceul,” a track from Canadian project Liminal Prison. Glistening synths dazzle initially, giving way to clanging guitar and moody bass pulses as an emotive croon emerges. These various instrumental forces converge with gripping immersion upon the chorus’ arrival, past the one-minute turn. A more soaring vocal presence melds within the starry-eyed synths and post-punk guitar/bass maneuvering for a replay-inducing charm there, moving seamlessly thereafter into the nonchalant appeal of the verses. “Linceul” is a stylish electronic and post-punk meshing from Liminal Prison.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
