True North is led by songwriter and musician Tones Thorburn, also known for his previous projects Stormporter and Late Model European. “No Exit Wound” maneuvers seamlessly across an array of debonair organs, jazzy keys, and riveting vocal performances; Thorburn’s suave tone takes the lead, while Sandy Mill’s backing vocals bolster the sound further with soulful ardency.
